McGeehan heads Turkey Run entry and McCormack makes switch to Mini WRC

Derek and Alan McGeehan top the entry list for this year’s River Ridge Recycling Turkey Run Rally in their Mini WRC.

They are one of two crews that have entered the event in a Mini, with recent Roger Albert Clark Rally winner Marty McCormack also set to move up to WRC power. McCormack is seeded at number eight but despite a lack of World Rally Car experience, we reckon he will be one to watch.

Also in the mix will be Alan Carmichael (Impreza WRC), as well as Anthony Cairns (Impreza) and John McKeown (Escort WRC). James Laverty is the leading Group N pilot and will start at number three, while Daniel Doherty, Joseph McGonigle, Seamus O’Connell, Derek Gurney and Barry McKenna are among the leading two-wheel-drive crews.
